In those situations where it isn´t possible to perform these operations on de-energized systems, S.T.&M. has the necessary human and material means to perform live-line works.

The execution of works on energized systems is contemplated only in the situations described by R.D. 614/2001.

The available system corresponds to safe-distance method, and we can apply it until 66 kV.

R.D.'s Annexe III is entirely dedicated to this modality of work. Obviously, this Annexe is highly exigent. For example, it establishes that these operations need the development of a specific procedure for every type of work, in which all the details are analyzed, so their strict application guarantees safety. It also mandates that field workers must have the qualified cathegory. S.T.&M.'s live-line staff must fulfill this condition.
